Agency Representatives, or "reps," are people working for Agencies serviced by the Laboratory.
Access the Agency Rep List
Open the Admin menu, scroll over Agency to open the submenu, and select Agency Rep.
Add an Agency Rep
First select an Agency from the picklist (1), then click the Add Agency Rep button (2).
Enter the information about the Agency Rep in the Add Agency Rep window. Agency Rep Last Name (1) and primary Agency (2) fields are required. To add information to a picklist (such as Agency, State, County, etc.), click the plus "+" button next to the field and enter the information.
If the Agency Rep works for other agencies, such as a task force, select those agencies from the Secondary Agencies picklist (3) by placing a checkmark in the appropriate checkboxes.
To generate and print a new barcode, or to register a barcode to the Agency Rep, click the Create Barcode icon (4).
If the user will also be an iPreLog and/or iResults user or Administrator, place a checkmark in the appropriate checkboxes (5). Early versions of LIMS-plus v5 may not have iResults and iPreLog checkboxes on this screen, however.
NOTE: If the user will also be an iPreLog and/or iResults user or Administrator, a current email address is needed for resetting forgotten passwords on iPreLog or iResults.
The Login Credentials (6) are used to provide Agency Reps access to information lookup systems, not to LIMS-plus v5 itself. Use of these external systems is optional.
Click Save (7) when finished.
Find, Edit or Deactivate an Agency Rep
To filter the list of Agency Reps, select an agency from the Agency picklist (1), or type some text in one of the filter fields (2), such as Last Name or First Name. (To search for inactive Agency Reps, remove the checkmark from the Active Only checkbox.)
To edit an Agency Rep, click the Edit icon (3) for the specific Rep in the grid list.
To deactivate an Agency Rep, click the Deactivate icon (4) for the specific Rep in the grid list.
Export or Print the List of Agency Reps
To export the list of Agency Reps to HTML or Excel, or to print the list, click on the Export icon.
The list of Agency Reps will appear in HTML format on a separate web page. From there, click the Print button to print the list, or click the Export to Excel button to perform that task. If the Export to Excel feature is used and the user has Excel installed on the computer, there will be an option to open the list in Excel. Otherwise, the file can be saved as an XMLReport.csv file.
