Administering iPreLog

Once iPreLog has been installed, there will be some on-going administrative tasks to be completed. To do these tasks, you will need to log onto the iPreLog site using the admin logon and password provided to you by JusticeTrax or using another administrative account you created.

Editing Lab Information

When you first log into iPreLog with an admin account, you are presented with the lab info. If required, edit information and click the Save Lab Info button.

Click one of the other buttons to navigate to other portions of administration.

Click the LOGOUT link at any time to log out of iPreLog.

Adding a New Agency

From the main screen, click the List of Agencies button.
Click New Agency.
Complete the information for the new agency. You must enter an ORI and Agency Name.
Click Save.

To create an admistrative account for that agency, click the Setup Admin button. This will allow someone from the submitting agency to maintain their list of users for you.

Creating the Agency's Admin Account

The agency's admin account will allow someone from that agency to maintain the list of their agency representatives that can use iPreLog.

The last name and first name are required. (The middle name is incorrectly marked as required in this screen shot.)
Provide a login and password.
An optional password hint and answer can be listed for added security should the admin need to reset their password.

Click Save.

Adding Services

You can define what services users of iPreLog can request from your laboratory by specifying them in the services section. From the main screen, click the List of Services button.
In the first box, you can enter an abbreviation for the service and a longer title in the next box. To make a service available to be selected by users, check the Active check box.
Click the Save Service button after adding each new service.

Adding Offenses

You can define what offenses users of iPreLog can add to a case by specifying them in the offenses section. From the main screen, click the List of Offenses button.
In the first box, you can enter an abbreviation for the offense and a longer title in the next box.
Click the Save Offense button after adding each new offense.

Adding Reasons

You can define what reasons users of iPreLog can add to a case by specifying them in the reasons section. From the main screen, click the List of Reasons button.
In the box, you can enter the text that will be added for the reason.
Click the Save Reason button after adding each new entry.

Adding Individual Types

You can define what types of individuals users of iPreLog can add to a case by specifying them in the Ind Types section. From the main screen, click the List of Ind Types button.
In the box, you can enter the text that will be added for the individual type.
Click the Save Ind Type button after adding each new entry.

Adding Races

You can define what races (ethnicities) users of iPreLog can add to a case by specifying them in the Races section. From the main screen, click the List of Races button.
In the box, you can enter the text that will be added for the race.
Click the Save Race button after adding each new entry.
