Add New Evidence Transfer Request Causes an Error

On the Quicklist (home page) if you click the Add New Transfer Request link and receive an error message, you may not have permission to complete the action. This is a known issue and is scheduled to be corrected in 1.1.3. Instead of an error, the user should be presented with a friendly message that they do not have permission to complete the action.


To grant permission to the function:

As an administrator, expand Admin> Staff Member and click Role Permissions.

Locate a role for the user that needs permission to the transfer request function and click the edit icon.

In the permissions list, check the checkbox next to RFET- Add, RFET-Delete and RFET- Edit and click Save.

Have the user log out and back in and they should be able to access the function.
