Printing a Report in LIMS-plus v3.8

Reports in LIMS-plus v3.8 are created using Crystal Reports just like older versions of the application. When they are first viewed, they are presented in the Crystal Reports Viewer window. You then have the option to print or export the report using the buttons in the upper-left part of the window.

When you click the Print button, your Windows Print dialogue screen should open allowing you to decide where you would like your document to print.

If you click the print button and only have the ability to export, then you need to install Adobe Reader and make sure it's enabled.

First, install Adobe Reader.

Next, make sure that the extension is enabled. Here are the instructions for Internet Explorer.

  1. Open Internet Options.
  2. Click Programs.
  3. Click Manage Add-ons.
  4. Under Toolbars and Extensions, Adobe PDF Reader MUST be Enabled.
